Country Manager at Finitera Investments

Due to the geographic expansion,  Finitera Investments is now accepting applications for the available Country Manager position at its new independent company in Montenegro.

Finitera is planning on opening a fin-tech company that will be providing a scope of financial services, including payday and consumer loans operating in emerging markets. The company aims to offer consumer finance and microfinance services to private individuals with the most convenient borrowing process for the customer.

We are looking for an energetic person with a start-up mindset, who will provide leadership and develop the business from the grounds up. You will be in charge of things from the beginning, and you will have full autonomy in developing and running the business the way you find suitable.

Key tasks and responsabilities:

  • Launch of consumer finance business in Montenegro
  • Management of daily operational activities of the company
  • Hiring, training, and managing the team
  • Cooperation with and reporting to group management
  • Monitoring and analyzing the operating results of the company
  • Representing the company and negotiating with suppliers, partners
  • Building and maintaining an effective team
  • Developing company’s brand awareness and distribution channels
  • The applicant shall comply with all mandatory requirements for members of management in financial companies according to the local law
  • Represent the company during the licensing process

Key requirements:

  • The applicant shall comply with all mandatory requirements for members of management in financial companies according to the local law
  • At least 3 years of previous management experience preferably in the finance industry
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Economics, Management or Finances, preferably MBA
  • Experience managing operations of customer care, debt collection, marketing is desired
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinking and hands-on approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Three-year successful work experience in the field of finance after getting the university degree is desired
  • Has not been a member of a management body in a trade company that is under bankruptcy procedure
  • Must have a clean record of any criminal activities or other irregularities
  • Work experience abroad is desired
